Oregon Zoo Strategic Master Plan

Portland, oregon

The new strategic master plan laid the groundwork for the successful $150 million capital improvement bond initiative which is currently being implemented. The core master plan projects included a new parking area to be shared with the World Forestry Center and the Portland Children’s Museum, a veterinary center, a consolidated maintenance center, new quarantine facilities, a new elephant habitat, and a new conservation center.

Chris Overdorf led the site assessment and physical site master planning efforts as part of a team led by Rick Biddle & David Walsh at Schultz & Williams.
