Nocatee Amenity & Aquatics
CROSSWATER HALL & "SPLASH" WATER PARK
PONTE VEDRA, FLORIDA
ELM provided comprehensive programming, planning, architecture, landscape architecture, interior design and construction administration services for the Town of Nocatee’s primary community clubhouse, fitness center, concessions building and water park.
The Nocatee “Splash” Water Park is the primary social and recreational amenity for a burgeoning community. As one of the largest aquatics parks in Northeast Florida, Splash includes an array of interactive water features, including a 53-ft. slide tower with dual high-speed slides known as the Rip Tide Slides; a 450-ft. Lazy River; a 9,500-s.f. zero-entry lagoon pool; and Splash Cove, an interactive spray-ground with a zero-entry shallow-access pool for children. The aquatics facility was designed to allow for expansion as the community continues to grow.
Incorporated within the Nocatee Splash Water Park are additional recreational amenities designed by ELM, including cabanas for concessions and restrooms, sand volleyball courts, a formal event lawn, three activity lawns, and a children’s playground.
The two-story Crosswater Hall clubhouse serves as a space for social and civic activities, community meetings and social functions, while the adjacent fitness center provides residents with modern cardio and strength-training equipment.
The ELM-designed Crosswater Hall features a ballroom, catering kitchen, resident services and administration offices. The park’s design also includes a lake with overlook views of the community’s nature preserves.
