Tamaya is a Mediterranean-style, master-planned community located off of Beach Boulevard midway between the beaches and downtown Jacksonville, Florida.
As residents enter through the grand entrance with its two-story gatehouse, they will pass through abundant green space, lakes and walking trails before approaching the centerpiece of this 780-acre community, the Resident's Club amenity center. ELM provided the landscape architectural design for the Entry Sequence as well as a connected community pocket park.
The ELM-designed recreational and social hub of Tamaya known as the Resident’s Club includes a 10,000-square-foot clubhouse, four Har-Tru tennis courts, an event lawn, and a more than 5,000-square-foot fitness center within the clubhouse. The amenity center also includes resort-style aquatics with a beach-entry lagoon pool, slide tower, six-lane fitness pool, and interactive water feature for aquatic play.
The Tamaya community will also include more than 500,000 square feet of commercial and retail space to help serve its estimated 2,400 residential units once complete.
