ELM Team Welcomes Two New Architectural Associates
ELM recently welcomed two new architectural designers in response to the firm’s growth and new project opportunities. Read on to get to know Jen and Bernie a little bit more!
Jennifer Christopher is an experienced architectural designer with nearly a decade of professional experience, with expertise in educational, religious, historical, transportation and other commercial design applications. Her previous design experience encompasses projects in Minnesota and Idaho, including a home in Pocatello, ID that was featured on ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.
Jennifer earned her Master of Architecture from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities Campus, and her Bachelor of Design in Architecture, Construction and Planning from the University of Florida; she joined ELM in November of 2018.
Bernard (Bernie) Dioguardi joined ELM at the beginning of January, after spending two years working in various architectural roles in the Jacksonville and Gainesville areas.
A recent transplant to Jacksonville, Bernie is a native of Arequipa, Peru, and recently graduated with his Master’s in Architecture from Politecnico di Milano in Italy. Bernie received his Bachelor of Design from the University of Florida.
Outside the office, Bernie enjoys playing guitar, singing, and staying active by swimming and playing volleyball.
