Retail Building at Wildlight

Nassau County, Florida

ELM is providing architectural and landscape architectural design services for the first retail development in Wildlight, a new community in Nassau County, north of Jacksonville.

As the “front door” of the Wildlight development, the three-acre site’s design serves as an introduction to the public of the development as a whole.

The multi-tenant building, which will include a courtyard and covered dining terrace, will bring the first wave of shops and restaurants to the Wildlight area, and embrace the “Florida Lowcountry” architectural style that is characteristic of the burgeoning community. The design of the retail building is unique—and complements the design of the existing Rayonier Headquarters, located on the property just north of the project site.

The building will be occupied by tenants including Royal Amelia Dance Academy, Cold Stone Creamery, and Tasty’s fresh burgers and fries. Completion is expected in spring 2019.
